Chris-Craft built 170 Continental 23's in their post War run, between 1956-1958.
They measured 22'7" with a beam of 7'11" and a 23" draft. This model is at a scale of 1/8th (1'scale to 8'actual) and has the correct windshield for the 1956 Continental. In 1957 and 1958 Chris-Craft used a plastic wrap around windshield. The extra seat behind the driver's seat was an option available for this boat. The model is double planked, mahogany on balsa. This boat is in good shape, however, a bit of wear and tear is visible.
The vessel is in good overall condition - She does need some work, but is structurally sound. No major issues - After some love and TLC, this one would be the perfect runabout. Perhaps for on LAKE TAHOE?!
Fresh Water USE only - Never been in salt water.
