Overview:

Introducing the latest addition to our growing Aleutian Series of raised pilothouse yachts, the 72 Aleutian SC joins the 72RP as the largest and most luxurious yachts in the Grand Banks fleet.

One look at the 72SC, however, reveals a key difference between the two: where the 72RP boasts an open lower cockpit with stairs up to the main deck, the 72SC instead features a main deck that extends aft from the salon to the transom on one level creating a wonderfully large outdoor living area covered by the flybridge deck above.

Deckplans:

Standard Main Deckplan
The standard salon layout for the 72SC features two large settees to port and starboard, as well as a curved settee surrounded by a inlaid teak table and four chairs, with a small bathroom featuring a toilet and sink situated to starboard.

Up in the raised pilothouse, a large U-shaped galley sits to port; just opposite is the flybridge stairway. Forward of this is the starboard-side pilothouse door, and a generous U-shaped settee around a teak dining table. The standard Stidd helm seat sits near the centerline, with another pilothouse door to port and a curving stairway to the deck below.

Standard Lower Deckplan
The standard layout for the lower deck of the 72SC offers a full-beam mid-ship master stateroom featuring a large queen berth, and en-suite head with a double sink and full size shower stall.

The VIP stateroom, farthest forward, features an island queen berth and en-suite head with shower stall. Between the VIP cabin and office, to starboard, sits the guest cabin, shown here with two twin beds.

Also shown here is the crew quarters, entered from the cockpit, with a twin bed, head and shower, storage and other amenities.

Standard Flybridge Deckplan
Shown above is the flybridge and forward exterior deckplan of the 72SC. Like all Aleutian models, the 72SC features an expansive flybridge with twin Stidd helm seats and large settees surrounding hand crafted teak tables. A watertight hatch protects the stairway access to and from the pilothouse below.

The flybridge deck on the 72SC extends farther aft than on the 72RP, providing greater coverage for the deck below. This larger flybridge space provides plenty of room for the tender and standard davit, as well as room for kayaks, bicycles or other gear you may want to bring on board.
