Raider 18 Cuddy Construction

Highly skilled and dedicated craftsmen pride themselves in using cutting-edge technology with traditional methods, resulting in a product that boasts a full two year warranty and maintains their position at the forefront of the industry. The Raider 18 is built using isothalic gel coats (a barrier to osmosis) and bi-axial cloth, which is stitched to chopped strand mat. This makes for a lighter, stronger boat that will absorb mechanical shock far better than conventional materials. During lamination, the cloth is overlapped by 8" on the keel and bilges, giving double the thickness and greater strength. The decks and cabin lockers are bonded into place whilst the hull is still in the mould. This holds the hull in shape and provides correct stress loading throughout, both prior to being released, and from then on.

Standard Equipment

Standard features and equipment include: Swivel helm seat, mid ship and stern cleats, bow roller, stainless steel bow rail, bow mooring post, escape hatch, self draining anchor locker, stainless steel hand rails, non return steering system, manual bilge pump.
